Castrol Hysol™ XF is a high performance semi-synthetic metalworking fluid formulated without formaldehyde releasing agents. It contains an additive package that provides good corrosion protection to machine tools and parts. It also provides excellent product stability which helps to lower the overall operational costs. Hysol XF is suitable for large central systems and single sump machines. Hysol XF is especially designed for the steel and aluminium alloys machining. Good wetting properties can help to reduce coolant drag out and help deliver cleaner machine tools and components. Formulated without formaldehyde releasing agents which may help you to fulfil aspects of legislative requirements. Lubrication package designed to try to help enhance tool life and improve surface finish on steel machining.

Castrol Hysol XF is a very versatile product suitable for general purpose machining, grinding and heavy duty applications. It is suitable for machining various materials including ferrous metals, aluminium, copper, and titanium. It is also suitable for aerospace aluminium alloys i.e. 2024 and 7075. Castrol Hysol XF incorporates advanced additive technology to prevent fungal and bacterial infections ensuring exceptional sump life. The product is suitable for use in central coolant systems and single sump machines.
